Hi folks
Several people have written to me correcting our use of the term
"Branding". They point out that what we are really refining here is our
identity.
So, please can we use the term "Ubuntu Identity" going forward, when we
are referring to:
- palettes,
- styling, themeing
- fonts
- web and desktop
- visual design
The correct use of "Brand" is when we're referring to the way we are
perceived. *Hopefully* that converges with our assumed brand values
(reliable, precise, free, collaborative for Ubuntu, and adding
accountable and adroit for Canonical).
